Measure at home
A kilt that fits well starts with accurate measurements. Grab a tape measure and a friend — most people are done in five minutes.
All you need is a tape and a helper
Take care with measurements please. If you give us accurate measurements, we will give you an outfit that fits. Your trouser size is not your kilt measurement !
- Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, with the tape measure under the arms, keeping the arms down.
- Waist
Measure around the belly button — pulling the tape firmly.
- KILT LENGTH
Standing straight and looking forward, your helper will measure from the belly button to the middle of the knee cap. Don’t look down !
- Neck
Measure around the neck, placing the tape at the point where the collar would be. Don’t place the tape high on the neck !
- Sleeve
Start the tape measure directly at this shoulder corner point and run it down the outside of the arm to your wrist bone
- Height
Your accurate height measurement helps us confirm your kilt length and jacket size.
